10 Wrestling Bouts From Other Promotions That Need Rematches In WWE

7. Cesaro Vs. Luke Harper

Castagnoli Lee
CHIKARA

Cesaro is rightfully considered one of the most criminally-underrated stars in WWE, but his misuse is nothing compared to that of Luke Harper. The hairy, Bruiser Brody-inspired brawler is excellent as a singles star, but apart from a brief run (and an even briefer reign as Intercontinental Champion), he hasn't gotten a chance to show it. He's mostly been relegated to tag team matches and serving as Bray Wyatt's cannon fodder.

Both men deserve to show what they can do against each other; after all, they've done it before. Prior to coming to WWE, Cesaro and Harper were Claudio Castagnoli and Brodie Lee, respectively, two independent wrestling journeymen. While competing for critically-acclaimed family-friendly promotion CHIKARA, the two started a feud that couldn't be contained to a standard wrestling bout - their matches always ended in disqualification. Finally, at 2008's Style and Substance event, the two met in CHIKARA's first-ever steel cage match. Castagnoli was finally victorious, handing Lee his first defeat in over a year.

When Luke Harper gets back, the company would be wise to double down on him as a singles star - even if he stays in The Wyatt Family. If they do, Cesaro's waiting.
