3. Kane And X-Pac
Kane has had his fair share of odd couple partners over the years - Daniel Bryan, The Hurricane, Rob Van Dam - but the one that started it all was his partnership with X-Pac.
Both men found themselves exiled from their respective groups following the merger of The Corporation and DX at WrestleMania XV, and so found comfort in each other.
X-Pac did a lot for the evolution of Kane's character, helping him win the heart of Tori and even encouraging him to speak for the first time.
Although, depending on how you like your Kane, this may not be a good thing.
This little and large combo were an extremely successful tag team, winning the World Tag Team Championship twice. But this success was not to last, as X-Pac betrayed his Big Red friend to re-join DX.
Even if it did end in tragedy, Kane and X-Pac's friendship was one of the most emotional of the entire Attitude Era. They were two outcasts who found each other and helped each other to grow, only for one to cruelly turn on the other in pursuit of fame and fortune.
It's a tale as old as time, only this version had pyrotechnics.
