And it was that final encounter that actually helped create a barmy piece of trivia that only a megastar like 'The Stinger' could make possible.

That Revolution 2024 victory over The Young Bucks alongside Darby Allin not only saw Sting retain his first piece of World title gold in AEW; that tag team championship match means he's now the only person in wrestling history to do one specific thing.

Just to add to his gigantic list of accomplishments in this business, that final bout means he's fought for a World title in the main event of an NWA, WCW, TNA, WWE and AEW pay-per-view during his 40-year run as a wrestler.

Read that back. That is an absolutely sensational achievement, and a testament to his enduring popularity and star power over the last four decades.
