One of the most adored and sorely missed wrestlers of all time, the late, great Eddie Guerrero endeared himself to just about everyone who ever witnessed him lie, cheat, and steal his way to glory.

And if you've ever caught yourself wondering where exactly his hugely captivating and effortlessly entertaining 'Latino Heat' character came from, well, prepare yourself for a truly unexpected origin story.

You see, as noted in his A&E Biography: Legends documentary, Guerrero actually became inspired after taking in the Robin-Williams-starring feature known as The Birdcage.

Specifically, a scene involving Hank Azaria's flamboyant housekeeper Agador asking Williams' drag club owner if he could be perform in the show stood out, with the moment Agador mentioned his "Guatemalan heat" giving Eddie the idea for the gimmick that would eventually become 'Latino Heat'.

And after Eddie's decision to try out the name in a promo with Chyna, this spark would eventually help add a comical new layer to the Guerrero character and ultimately transform him into one of the most engaging figures in all of wrestling in the time that followed his Chyna partnership, departure from WWE in 2001, and eventual return in 2002.
