6. Vince McMahon & Goldberg Shared A Heart-To-Heart

Backstage scenes from the WWE Network special on Bill Goldberg were fascinating. Some never-before-seen footage of Goldberg going over his entrance routine with Triple H, meeting newer faces on the WWE roster or sharing a laugh with Vince McMahon made the program sing. In particular, the chats with McMahon meant the most to Bill.

During Goldberg's previous WWE run in 2003-2004, he rarely spoke with Vince about anything other than business and never felt like he belonged in the McMahon empire. That changed the second time. Older and eager to right the wrongs of his prior run, Goldberg wanted to engage with Vince and talk to him as a human being.

That led to unlikely heart-to-heart sessions behind the scenes. The documentary went in-depth about Goldberg's own insecurities and fears, but also showed he was always encouraged by Vince to talk. "The door is always open", McMahon said. It seems both patched up a frosty relationship.
