Hulk Hogan holds a perfect 6-0 record at SummerSlam. He holds wins over Ted DiBiase and André The Giant in 1988, Randy Savage and Zeus in 1989, Earthquake in 1990, Sgt. Slaughter, General Adnan and Colonel Mustafa in 1991, Shawn Michaels in 2005 and Randy Orton in 2006.

Of all those, '89 is his favourite.

Hulk told ESPN backstage at Raw Reunion that he had the most fun wrestling alongside good pal Brutus Beefcake against Randy Savage and non-wrestler Zeus in East Rutherford, New Jersey. He claims the electricity was so intense that evening that it can't be topped. HBK and Randy Orton fans might have something to say about that.

There's no doubt both those matches were better quality, but Hogan has a special place in his heart for 1989's event. Not only did he get to team with a lifelong friend, the Hulkster is also proud of what he, Beefcake and Savage achieved by dragging an actor to a decent bout.
