Seth Rollins caused quite the social media stir in late-June by bantering back and forth with Will Ospreay about match consistency, promotional might and healthy bank accounts. Later, the then-Universal Champ apologised for being so brash about money and said it was out of character.

Behind the scenes in WWE, his peers were proud of him for defending their workplace.

Corey Graves told the 'Two Man Power Trip Of Wrestling' podcast that he was immensely appreciative that Rollins was willing to stick his neck out and publicly stick up for WWE. Whilst Graves didn't go into details on what people thought of his apology, he did note that many patted Seth on the back for acting like a locker room leader.

Rollins' bold statement (claiming nobody else on the planet can do what he does with such regularity) came after the mixed bag Stomping Grounds pay-per-view. To Corey, this was a great time to show loyalty and toot WWE's horn.
