Doot, doot, doot.

Anyone who listens to Bruce Prichard's Something To Wrestle With pod on a regular basis will get that reference. It's a light-hearted dig at Michael Hayes, someone Bruce calls a friend and previously worked with on WWE creative. We're willing to bet Hayes was saying something else every Tuesday afternoon in 2008.

Prichard told how the former Freebird would log his draft of the next week's SmackDown episode every week, and Vince McMahon would tell him he'd give it a look that Thursday. Happy, Hayes would start thinking about follow up. That's when McMahon pulled the proverbial rug out from underneath him and, after working out on Tuesday mornings, he'd change his mind.

That left the entire show in chaos and both Hayes and Prichard had to frantically rewrite it a few hours before the cameras started rolling. According to Bruce, this was almost a week ritual, and it left ol' P.S frustrated that his ideas had been accepted then cannibalised.
