10 Wrestling Facts We Didn't Know Last Week (13 March)

6. Jack Swagger Has A Secret Talent For Acting

During a recent promotional appearance to big up WWE's upcoming UK Tour, Jack Swagger surprised the hosts of BANG Showbiz when he casually said he'd love to make movies with Vince Vaughn, and be involved in comedy films in general. Truthfully, Swagger has always seemed rather awkward when being asked to speak on the microphone in WWE, and it's fair to say the company don't have much faith in his verbal abilities, hence why Zeb Colter was brought into the mix. Remarking that he's a "pretty funny guy", the former World Heavyweight Champion doesn't have much upward mobility in WWE these days, it seems his chances of being pushed are over, at least for now. Who knows what will happen in the future, but all signs point to the creative team not having all that much for the guy to really sink his teeth into at the moment. With that in mind, would a jump into acting suit Jack Swagger? Stranger things have happened, but usually when a wrestler makes the jump into TV or acting, it's clear to see they have bags of personality, such as Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson. Swagger doesn't quite possess that electrifying personality, but maybe that would lend itself nicely to awkward comedy?
