10 Wrestling Facts We Didn't Know Last Week (Nov 28)

7. The Dudley Boyz Have Always Been Protective Over TLC Legacy

The Dudley Boyz look like they haven't lost a step since returning to WWE in August, 2015. Looking at Bubba-Ray and D-Von's performances, it's almost like they have never been away from the company. The storyline brothers made a real name for themselves in the promotion, stemming from infamous 'Tables, Ladders And Chairs' matches against Edge and Christian and The Hardy Boyz. At both SummerSlam 2000 and WrestleMania X-Seven, The Dudleyz were involved in the memorable matches which helped put the stipulation on the map. When quizzed recently on talkSPORT.com about the idea of doing another TLC bout, both men were cagey. According to Bubba, both he and D-Von are very protective over what they managed to achieve before, and don't want to sully the legacy of the previous TLC matches. It seems likely that should WWE present another tag-team TLC match, The Dudley Boyz will be involved. The New Day and The Usos would be likely opponents, possibly even The Lucha Dragons if the company wanted to add more names to the mix. Even when the team competed in TNA, they were mindful to keep the TLC matches special.
