6. Mick Foley Is Responsible For Becky Lynch Continuing To Watch Wrestling
A former Team PCB team mate of Paige, Becky Lynch is currently feuding with Charlotte on WWE television over the Divas Title. There's more than an air of Lita about Becky, she's unconventional and certainly not a Barbie-doll like woman that the company has at times favoured in the past. The Irish female is popular, but she nearly never made it into pro wrestling. Throughout childhood, Becky was a fan of the industry. Then, at aged 10 she started to move away from wrestling and didn't watch as much as she used to. It was only when she started to notice Mick Foley that Lynch found her interest in WWE sparked once more. Talking to the News Press, the Diva revealed that she used to ask her brother to tell her when Foley would be on shows. A remarkable thing then happened, Lynch once again fell in love with wrestling and started to seriously think about it as a career path. Given that she's 28, this means that Lynch stopped watching around 1997, only starting again once Foley's main event career really started to kick off. Admiration of his performances prompted her to think about training to become a wrestler.
