6. WWE Weren't Keen On The Pedigree Originally

No wonder Randy Orton wanted to beat the snot out of Triple H for years. His old Evolution superior had used the RKO long before Randy hit the scene.

Oh yes, Triple H's very first WWE finish was a crude Cutter version of Orton's 'out of nowhere' classic, but it didn't really jive with Hunter's style. Annoyed that he was being asked to go against his better instincts and knowing he'd be much more comfortable with something else, Triple H decided to start re-using the Pedigree again (he'd adapted it in WCW before signing).

Trips told this tale to the @WWEonFOX Twitter account, and said that he never liked using the Cutter as his main move. Back in 1995 though, he didn't have much choice but to go along with company plans and stop using what he deemed a 'modified Piledriver inspired by Killer Kowalski'.

Perhaps WWE officials felt the Pedigree was too dangerous. Who knows. They'd soon change their minds upon realising that the wrestler wasn't budging on his stance. Now, it's impossible to imagine Triple H's career without it.
