On Monday Night Raw this past week, Seth Rollins poked fun at Roman Reigns for getting himself suspended by WWE. The 30-day sabbatical will rule Reigns out of the build towards a Triple Threat Match also involving Dean Ambrose at Battleground, and those scripting Seth's promo seemed eager to roast Roman for that fact.

Contravening WWE's Wellness Policy, Reigns went from WWE World Heavyweight Champion before Money In The Bank to being on the outside looking in. As reported this week in the Wrestling Observer, WWE demanded that Reigns be punished for his violation, deeming the suspension not enough of a punishment.

As well as sitting on the sidelines without regular pay for almost a full month, Reigns was also told to apologise to the entire WWE locker room. In the Observer, it was said that Mark Carrano was the one to tell Reigns of the edict, one which may have thus been passed down by Triple H.

In the same newsletter, it was also reported that several backstage didn't feel the public apology was necessary, and that it was solely done to embarrass Reigns.
