Most older wrestling fans would love to see Kurt Angle given one more run in WWE. Not working with the promotion since 2006, Angle appearing back on Raw or SmackDown would feel huge, and he'd lend some genuine star quality to the roster. Over the years, WWE have seemed to have reservations about bringing Kurt back into the fold.

Personal problems and various substance abuse issues have plagued the Olympic Gold Medal winner for years now. That is likely a worry for WWE's top brass, because they don't want a PR disaster on their hands. Still, they can be heartened by Angle's willingness to fight his addictions.

In an interview with Sports Illustrated's Extra Mustard, Angle stunningly compared fighting his addiction problems with gunning for that gold at the 1996 Summer Games in Atlanta.

Taking things day-by-day, the 'Olympic Hero' says he looks back to how he tried to do better than the previous day's training in the mid-90's for inspiration. Now, he uses that motivation to improve his willpower on a daily basis, which is a fascinating way of looking at things.
