First though, it's The Viking Experience.

The one-time War Machine-turned-War Raiders unit of Ivar (Hanson) and Erik (Rowe) have been causing a stir on social media after their jump to Raw on Monday. An awful lot of fans can't wrap their heads around the idea that WWE chose to call their norse warriors something so tame as The Viking Experience.

According to PWInsider, Ivar and Erik almost had another moniker, and WWE didn't go sour on it until a few hours before Raw started. Originally, the team were going to be dubbed 'The Berserkers', a clear tribute to the bloodthirsty rage of almost-mythical viking fighters who fought with so much fury it was trancelike in nature.

Of course, they'd also draw comparisons to John Nord's character of the same name from the early-90s. Everyone probably agrees that The Berserkers is a much better name than the one WWE eventually went with for the former NXT Tag Champs.
