Jim Ross told MMA Junkie this week he was "blown away" by Ronda Rousey's performance at WrestleMania 34, and he thinks it might be the best debut of all time.

Yes, JR is putting Rousey's in-ring bow ahead of Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels and every other top star in wrestling history. It's high praise, but Ross has had some time to think about how composed Ronda was and said it's the "most impactful" debut he's ever witnessed in such a high-profile spot.

Continuing with the gushing appraisal, he also said that some wrestling fans were "insane" for thinking Rousey shouldn't be in a wrestling ring to begin with. Whilst Jim does have the right perspective there (nobody can claim Ronda's signing is bad for WWE), he's likely to infuriate hardcore fans by citing her debut as the best yet.

JR doesn't care though, and he thinks it would have been easy for Rousey to fail given all the pre-show hype surrounding her debut and the immense pressure on her shoulders working with two legends like Triple H and Kurt Angle.
