6. Daniel Bryan Pitches Match With Japanese Star
WWE are scheduled to tour Japan this Summer, in one of the annual jaunts across the globe that wrestlers under contract to the juggernaut promotion are required to make. As the new Intercontinental Champion, Daniel Bryan isn't quite the focal point on television that he perhaps was following WrestleMania 30, but he's likely still a respected figure, certainly among his peers. Having an extensive career away from the WWE bubble for many years, Bryan loves hard-hitting, strong-style pro wrestling, and has even pitched a match with current IWGP Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura. The Japanese grappler is contracted to New Japan Pro Wrestling, and the bout would be considered a dream match amongst many fans of the industry. Let's be honest, WWE don't really see wrestling like a lot of other people do, so they're not going to be sitting there saying, 'This would be a fantastic match, let's do it'. There would have to be some sort of benefit to business in order for Vince McMahon to acquiesce to Bryan's suggestion. Even if not televised however, the collision could draw some pretty big coverage for WWE in the Orient, but that's something McMahon may feel his company can do themselves anyway.
