4. Jinder Mahal Slept With The WWE Title After Backlash

Brace yourselves, because it seems like there will soon be a new WWE Champion upon us. Jinder Mahal's reign is on notice, because it's surely only a matter of time before Baron Corbin is booked to cash in his MITB briefcase and become WWE Champ. At least Mahal can boast the most unlikely title win in years.

On the Roz & Mocha radio show, Jinder tried to stay true to his character by saying he always knew he'd win the WWE Title. Peel back the kayfabe-style comments from the interview (there were many) and Mahal's real-life passion for pro wrestling shone through. Why else would he sleep with the WWE Title right after winning the thing?

That's right, Jinder tucked his newly-won title into bed alongside him after beating Randy Orton to win it at Backlash. There's something sweet about that, because it shows just how much the victory meant to Mahal personally.
