It's pretty well documented that Enzo Amore rubs a lot of people the wrong way behind the scenes in WWE. The guy just had one of those buzz-bomb personalities that some don't like being around. Due to that nuclear heat, WWE's creative team decided they'd have a little fun with Enzo at SummerSlam.

Sportskeeda are reporting that the whole Shark Cage thing is a punishment designed to capitalise on Amore's genuine fear of heights. This will be the third time in 2017 WWE have used the cage, but this must be the first time it's been used to teach someone a real-life lesson. Enzo Amore is the lucky devil who gets that dubious honour.

Isn't it weird that WWE would decide to punish someone on-screen? Wouldn't it be better to lecture Enzo behind the curtain away from fans, or even financially punish him every time he's badly behaved? Playing out his heat in front of the fans on one of the biggest pay-per-views of the year feels childish.
