Christian won an epic Triple Threat Ladder war at WrestleMania 2000, topped that one year later at X-Seven in TLC and got to make out with Trish Stratus on the grand stage in 2004 at XX. You'd think, after all those good times, that he'd love him some 'Mania. News flash: Christian prefers SummerSlam.

Why? It's simple. He views the summer pay-per-view through a more favourable lens than WrestleMania because he has more happy memories from working it as a singles star. On E&C's Pod Of Awesomeness, the Canadian said he loved his 'No Holds Barred' match with Randy Orton in 2011 and had a blast against Alberto Del Rio in 2013 too.

Those matches meant the world to him, and they let him show off his skills in the World Title picture.

Christian also pointed out that he was injured during 'Mania season a few times in his career. He therefore associates that event with personal strife rather than individual success, and it's why SummerSlam sticks out more in his mind.
