The next time anyone pokes fun at Shane McMahon's exaggerated sell of Kevin Owens' Stunner, show them old footage of The Rock taking it on the Network. Nobody flip-flopped around like a fish for the move more than ol' Dwayne Johnson, and he's now Hollywood's leading man. Take from that what you wish.

It terrified Steve Austin.

He told KFC Radio (no relation to the fast food chain, probably) that Rocky's iconic sell was something he avoided like the plague. He'd been smacked in the head by one of Rock's massive legs (after 'The Great One' bounced back off the ropes) and found it incredibly painful. Austin made sure to get the hell out of dodge from that point on.

This is something he did nightly on the house show loops when working with The Rock. It sucked to nail your finish then get cracked in the dome by an errant boot, so 'Stone Cold' would hit the move then make sure to roll out of the way.
