The artist formerly known as Big Cass in WWE has been reborn outside company walls as CazXL. Pictures have circulated of the towering brute in fantastic physical condition again, and it's good to see that he's getting his career back on track after a nightmare WWE release last year. Now, Caz is able to look back on his run.

He does so with regret at beating up that mini-Daniel Bryan knock off on the 1 May 2018 SmackDown.

In an interview with Ryan Satin's Pro Wrestling Sheet, XL said it was a "dumb decision" to deviate from Vince McMahon's carefully-scripted plans and beat the little person up on live TV. A combination of arrogance, frustration and desire to prove he could be a top heel all led Cass to p*ss off the boss and write his own termination.

The incident is one he says he'll never forget, and it remains his biggest misgiving when looking back on WWE life. Today, Caz regards the move as a "f*cking mistake" that was a "very stupid decision". He knew it as soon as he started walking back up the aisle.
