Trish Stratus has been able to successfully transition away from pro wrestling since departing WWE full-time in 2006. It's difficult to fully grasp that Stratus hasn't been a full-time performer for the company in over a decade, although Trish has kept herself busy with her yoga studio and personal life.

Making a podcast appearance alongside Lilian Garcia on the former ring announcer's Making Their Way To The Ring show, Stratus opened up to talk about her thoughts on women's wrestling. The subject of where females stand in WWE today compared to when Trish entered the company was broached, leading Stratus to reveal her distaste for a former label.

Before launching the current female revolution, WWE referred to the fairer sex as 'Divas'. According to Trish, this was never something she liked. Whenever she could, Stratus would refrain from using the term, feeling it separated the women from their male counterparts and made every female performer look needy and bitchy.

Many female wrestlers have expressed their dislike for the Diva brand. It's interesting to learn that Stratus actively tried to avoid saying it on screen as much as possible during her main run.
