5. Even Daniel Bryan Doesn't Foresee Any Pay Off To His Miz Feud

One major flaw in WWE's plans for the latest brand extension is a keen reliance on authority figures across both Raw and SmackDown.

The constant warring of words between Daniel Bryan (GM of the blue brand) and The Miz is confusing - largely because there doesn't appear to be any real impending pay off.

WWE won't clear Bryan to wrestle any time soon, ensuring the threats spat by Miz don't resonate fully with fans. It's hard for people to forget that Bryan won't be wrestling, making it difficult to invest in the idea of Miz taunting SmackDown's General Manager.

During an interview with Gorilla Position, the confusion of Bryan himself came to the fore. Pitching clearance time and time, the former World Champ is left frustrated when doctors repeatedly tell him no.

In a sense, it's almost like WWE's writers are teasing Bryan by clearly presenting his issues with Miz as those which need settled in a match. As that's not going to happen, the entire exercise feels pointless - despite being entertaining.
