Bayley has always been openly disappointed about WWE's refusal to call her up to the main roster at the same time as friends Charlotte Flair and Sasha Banks; it cannot have been easy for the babyface sensation to look on as her real-life pals shot upward whilst she stayed put in the NXT system.

Joining Lilian Garcia on the ex-ring announcer's 'Making Their Way To The Ring' podcast, the positive vibes Bayley emits shone through as she discussed that period of her career. Whilst she watched friends speak of a Women's Revolution on Raw, Bayley was left to hold down the fort as NXT Women's Champ and carry the brand.

Bitterness didn't come into things, because Bayley was happy for her friends. At the same time, the babyface star yearned for acceptance from WWE's top brass in the main roster environment, something that came around a year after her peers.

Ironically using that snub from management as fuel, a determined Bayley told Garcia that she knew then how much she had to prove her worth by dominating NXT.
