The late, great Eddie Guerrero sadly passed away on 13 November 2005. In the 4828 days since (at time of publishing), one of his best friends has found himself unable to visit Eddie's graveside and pay his respects. That all changed this week. Rey Mysterio finally plucked up the courage.

In a lengthy Instagram post, the legend explained why he found it so hard to go see Guerrero's grave.

The pain was too much for Rey, and memories of the day Eddie died gripped him like a fever so intense it overwhelmed him. As he stood looking down on his best friend's plot, Mysterio struggled to fight back the tears, and he found the whole experience to be a nightmare. Then, something remarkable happened.

Rey claims Eddie's presence felt strong. Just as he thought he might lose his composure, he began to realise how close he was to Guerrero physically. That, more than anything, helped him get through something he'd put off for 13 years.
