7. Impact Offered Chris Jericho "Seven Figures" For Four Matches

Chris Jericho's recent interview with Wrestling Observer Radio was just a bit stunning. Either Dave Meltzer brings out the best in the former Y2J or Jericho fancied getting a few things off his chest. Whatever happened, it was interesting to hear the legend compare his box office value to Brock Lesnar.

Then, almost like he was in the mood to get the internet talking (again), Jericho disclosed details of his dialogue with Impact.

At the same time he was talking turkey with Tony Khan about AEW and in negotiations with New Japan about further dates, Jericho was talking to Impact about working some shots. The interesting thing here is that they offered him "seven figures" for just four matches, and the All Elite star said they've got some serious cash.

Impact has appeared to downsize over the past year or so, so it's curious to learn they've been offering some big time moolah. In the end, Jericho turned their deal down in favour of signing with AEW.
