Anyone who knows anything about WCW's heyday will know that Lex Luger and Sting were pretty good friends behind the scenes. Both enjoyed working out, eating well and they've remained pals to this day. On MLW Radio's Total Engagement show, Luger insisted his arrogance nearly spoiled that.

He brushed off Sting's friendly banter when they first met.

Lex was resentful of the fact that the Stinger had come in and taken the NWA by storm in the late-80s. That, as was apparently the case with Luger back then, meant he treated his new peer like an unwanted new face in the locker room. When Sting approached Lex and asked how he kept in such great shape on the road, Luger replied with a curt, "Peanut M&Ms" and blew him off.

It wasn't until they kept bumping into one another at catering or in hotels that the pair started to get along as friends. Lex should be thankful that Sting didn't just view him as a big-leaguing jerk who didn't deserve another chance.
