You may known actor Terry Crews from his hilarious performance in White Chicks, The Expendables or his role as Terry Jeffords in Brooklyn Nine-Nine. What you probably don't know is that Crews held negotiations with WWE over working with the promotion once they renamed Uhaa Nation to Apollo Crews in 2015.

This all stemmed from a tweet Terry sent to Apollo back then congratulating him on the new ring name. The talks would fall through and Apollo has since ditched the shared surname, but the actor apparently still holds a grudge.

Crews said via his Twitter account this week that, whilst he respects Apollo, he feels WWE stole his name without permission.

Later, when one fan learned of discussions with WWE and joked that Crews had missed out on a killer tag-team, Terry said he wouldn't work for free. This suggests WWE weren't willing to pay Crews if he came in and worked with Apollo. Ouch.
