After he and Roman Reigns were ditched by Seth Rollins on the June 2, 2014 episode of Raw, the 'Lunatic Fringe' elements Dean Ambrose had hinted at during The Shield's run were unleashed. Reborn as a rebellious babyface, the anti-hero style of Ambrose was immediately related to Steve Austin and Roddy Piper.

During an interview with Vegas Seven (one that also involved his real-life girlfriend, Renee Young), Dean detailed the relationship he has fostered with fans ever since splitting from The Shield and going his own way; semi-sarcastically, Ambrose seemed perplexed as he discussed unwanted attention from some fans, including bouts of stalking and the death threats Young has received.

That's when Ambrose dropped the bombshell that he had been regularly stalked for around two years. Failing to point out whether or not it was the same person following him around creepily, the mid-card babyface did say that he has received foreboding phone calls and had some women wait at hotels for him.

It's pretty out there for a WWE performer to openly chat about things like this in 2017, but Ambrose did so in an almost comedic manner.
