10 Wrestling Facts We Didn't Know Last Week (Feb 6)
4. WWE's Changing Plans
It's strange to imagine that fans could go from being upset that Roman Reigns didn't win the 2014 Royal Rumble, to being so furious that he managed to win the 2015 iteration. Much can change in one short year, and the verdict was in following the latest Rumble, WWE fans don't appreciate the big man being shoved down their throats. Fascinatingly, even though plans were in place to have Brock Lesnar defend his WWE World Heavyweight Title against Reigns at Wrestlemania 31, rumours persist that WWE could be prepared to tweak the scenario somewhat, fearing a huge amount of backlash from the wrestling community. Initially, Reigns was set to clash with The Big Show (or another top heel) at the new Fast Lane PPV, likely winning comfortably to prepare him for 'Mania, and Daniel Bryan was penciled in to clash with Bray Wyatt, but plans have now changed. A new main event, Bryan vs. Reigns has been created, showing that the company are somewhat listening to the fan base. The question is, will they go all the way, and insert Bryan into the World Title picture for Wrestlemania? Or, will McMahon and his gang stick to their guns, delivering Reigns vs. Lesnar one-one-one at Levi's Stadium this Spring?
