10 Wrestling Facts We Didn't Know Last Week (Feb 6)
5. Kurt Angle's TNA Contract Length
For a good few years now, wrestling fans have been waiting for the news that Kurt Angle is returning to WWE, the company with which he made his name, before transitioning over to TNA in 2006 and forging a path there. Of course, up till now, such a comeback hasn't happened, but it's accepted by most that Angle will make more appearances in WWE before he retires for good from wrestling. One thing's for sure, it won't be happening in 2015. Signing a mysterious new contract in December with the Orlando-based promotion, it wasn't clear at first how long the Olympic Gold Medal winner had signed on for, but fresh reports this week have leaked that Angle has tied himself to TNA until at least December, 2015. This one-year deal could well be Angle's last with the company, surely there's too much money to be made from a DVD set chronicling his career, as well as one or two big-money matches back under Vince McMahon's banner?
