If you have the time, listen to Pete Gas on Sean Mooney's 'Prime Time' podcast in full. It's a great episode, one packed full of stories about Shane McMahon as a teenager, what Vince McMahon was like as a father and more. Also, Gas had apparently asked Shane how he could become a wrestler in 1992.

That's a full seven years before The Mean Street Posse made their way onto TV in '99. When they finally did, the trio were so nervous that they met up beforehand and downed a 12-pack of beers to stem the nerves they were feeling. Gas laughs about that now, because he and Rodney were only slated to record some in-studio comments about growing up around the McMahons.

Budweiser helped.

After drinking for a bit, The Posse were more relaxed and felt like they could be themselves. That's the kind of thing performers would never get away with now, but the Attitude era was a different time.
