10. Vince McMahon Slapped Booker T So Hard He Burst An Ear Drum

BANG!

That's roughly what Booker T heard when Vince McMahon slapped the crap out of him in 2001 on Raw. This was Book's Madison Square Garden debut, and he was already fired up before his boss pulled him aside backstage for a quick conversation. Vince, sensing the importance of the moment, wanted to know Booker was going to bring it.

On his 'Heated Conversations' podcast, Booker admitted he was nervous about laying his hands on McMahon. He didn't want to do anything that might get him in trouble, but Vince was determined to pull some anger from his new employee. So, he did what any good gaffer would do: he slapped Booker so hard he burst his left ear drum.

Booker claims he couldn't hear the crowd after the slap, and he only remembers laying it in with punches before decking McMahon with his Scissors Kick finish. In essence, the boss got what he wanted.
