4. Mick Foley Felt NXT Women€™s Bout Was Match Of The Year

Another former WWE star who still watches shows is Mick Foley. Over the years, Foley has had a strange relationship with the company, because he refuses to refrain from giving his opinion on the product even if it's negative. In addition, he really didn't like being shouted at Vince McMahon through the headset whilst working as an announcer on the Smackdown brand in 2008. On Facebook, Foley told of sitting down with his children to compile a list of the best WWE matches of 2015. Towards the end of the conversation, Mick revealed his pick for the best bout of the year, choosing Bayley vs. Sasha Banks from NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn. The show took place the night before WWE SummerSlam in August, and was roundly praised as one of the best women's matches ever in the company. It seems that Foley agreed, and he was in attendance for the match. Incredibly, the former World Champion said that he pretty much shed tears of joy upon the conclusion of the bout. Citing the match as one wrestling fans will "hold dear for years", the man couldn't praise it enough.
