Shane Douglas and WWE don't exactly get on these days. The animosity is likely more one-sided than Douglas thinks (it's hard to envision Vince McMahon spending many sleepless nights thinking about him), but it's definitely true that the former Dean Douglas wouldn't feel too welcome at company events in 2018.

On the Two Man Power Trip Of Wrestling podcast, Shane discussed the possibility of Bam Bam Bigelow being inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame right before WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans. Though he wouldn't feel 100% comfortable going back on his own criticism of WWE's ceremony and being there live, Douglas admitted he would put that to the side out of respect for a friend.

The former ECW World Champion is aware that WWE wouldn't reach out to him as the guy to induct Bam Bam if he did go into the HOF. That doesn't alter the fact he'd love to pay tribute to a fallen friend and see his children get teary as they watched the wrestling world honour their father.
