Brock Lesnar's matches have appeared unique since his WWE return in 2012, but until now it's been hard to put a finger on exactly why. Samoa Joe's interview with 102.5 The Bone in Tampa provided answers. It turns out that Brock isn't too fond of laying out his matches move for move beforehand.

Joe said getting together with Lesnar to come up with plans was futile, because the Universal Champion favours an organic approach. Rather than working out in the ring before Great Balls Of Fire began, Brock just wanted to go out and call things on the fly. It'd be interesting to know if that included Joe's sneak attack at the start of the bout.

That surely had to be planned, but the Samoan claimed hardly anything in the match was discussed before bell time. Joe also said you must accept that pain is a byproduct of any Brock Lesnar match and that you're not going to escape without being hit in the head.

We'll stick to reporting on this stuff.
