6. WWE Legends Show Support For Tyson Kidd

Prior to a recent episode of Monday Night Raw, the high-flying Tyson Kidd engaged in a routine dark match against the relatively new (to the WWE system at least) Samoa Joe. In what should have been a brilliant way to warm up the live crowd for the main broadcast, Kidd unfortunately suffered an injury which cut the bout short. It was later revealed that the former WWE Tag-Team Champion had been victim of a legitimately nasty spinal cord injury, one which could keep him on the shelf for quite some time. Details are still somewhat sketchy, but it was serious enough an incident to have the likes of Steve Austin and Edge, both of whom have suffered from serious neck-related injuries, reaching out to Kidd and showing their support. Tentative reports are suggesting the worst case scenario for the wrestler is that he will miss up to a full year of action, which is obviously a momentum-killer for his tandem with Cesaro. The pair had been cast as an odd couple at first, but have shown remarkable chemistry together as a team, modifying their look and becoming one of the better duos in the company.
