10 Wrestling Facts We Didn't Know Last Week (June 21)

1. Steve Austin Thought Jon Moxley Might 'Hate His Guts'

It's difficult to imagine 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin lying awake at night fretting over anything, but that's exactly what happened after his miserable WWE Network interview with Dean Ambrose/Jon Moxley in 2016. That podcast was the pits. It presented Ambrose as a lazy, unmotivated WWE Champ and it was easy to see that Austin wasn't happy with it.

On the latest edition of his podcast, Austin admitted that he couldn't stop thinking about what had happened afterwards. In fact, the legend was so shaken up that he also worried Ambrose/Moxley might 'hate his guts' over the sorry episode. The pair didn't put things right until a few years later when Austin got Jon's number and gave him a call.

They spoke for 30 minutes and got back on the same page.

Before that, Austin was concerned that Dean Ambrose fans would crap all over him for his hosting work, and he didn't want anyone to think he'd purposefully tried to make Ambrose look bad. In fairness to Austin, Ambrose didn't seem interested at the time.
