10 Wrestling Facts We Didn't Know Last Week (June 5)
3. AJ Styles Turns Down TNA Hall Of Fame
At first glance, it seems that TNA are missing AJ Styles a hell of a lot more than the high-flying wrestler is missing Dixie Carter's company. Currently living it up in Japan, Styles is a crucial part of New Japan Pro Wrestling's current product, and it seems he's more than happy to stay there rather than come back to the organisation with which he made his name. As the current reigning IWGP Heavyweight Champion, Styles was reportedly offered the chance to make a grand return to TNA. Knocking back the opportunity to be entered into the TNA Hall Of Fame this year, the deal on the table would have also included a match at the Slammiversary Pay-Per-View, but it appears that the former TNA World Champion wasn't interested from the get-go. There have been rumours surrounding the possibility of AJ signing for WWE and entering the NXT system, mainly due to reports that the company are intrigued by the thought of running NXT shows on the road far more often than they do. By turning down the TNA Hall Of Fame, is Styles leaving his options open for that WWE move, or is he simply content in Japan?
