It's been reported before that Naomi spent around 2 years trying to convince WWE's creative team that her 'Feel The Glow' gimmick was a winner. There's no denying that the new character has been a breath of fresh air for the SmackDown starlet, and it's hardly coincidental that she rocketed up the ranks quickly after adopting it.

According to Naomi's interview with CBS Sports recently, 'Feel The Glow' was the only idea she had to offer. Beyond that, Naomi had no clue what she could do on the main roster. It was a case of persuading WWE to give it a shot or going right back to the drawing board. There was no backup plan.

Even when her idea was embraced by the writers, Naomi was worried it'd tank. Again, there was no room for error and she knew the gimmick had to be successful. Thankfully, it was, and Naomi was able to shift from heel to babyface by encouraging fans to watch her shine and follow their dreams.
