10 Wrestling Facts We Didn't Know Last Week (March 20)

3. WWE Refer Talent To Team 3D Academy

Starting operations in 2007, the Team 3D Academy is run by The Dudley Boys, one of the most successful and long-running tag-teams in wrestling history. Training the likes of Sam Shaw and Jesse Neal, both Bubba Ray and Devon have had their school regularly named as a great starting point for young wrestlers by many of their fellow peers. In eye-opening news, Devon told this week how WWE recommend the training facility to young stars before trying out for NXT, which really goes to show how highly thought of the Team 3D Academy is, even amongst those at the very top of the industry. Even though The Dudley Boys have been gone from WWE for around 10 years, there's obviously still good faith between the team and their former employers, otherwise there's no way the promotion would be linking talent up with the school. It's somewhat nice to hear that WWE, even with their Performance Center, are still encouraging young wrestlers to seek out a variety of different training styles.
