10 Wrestling Facts We Didn't Know Last Week (March 27)

3. Jeff Hardy Craves Hell In A Cell Match

Another interesting tidbit to come out this week was Jeff Hardy noting that he'd only return to WWE for one thing, a Hell In A Cell match. The daredevil high-flyer has never competed in the confines of the imposing structure, which is surprising, his high-risk style would be perfect for creating one of those timeless, hold-your-breath moments by leaping from the top of the cell onto an opponent below. Hardy has worked numerous Steel Cage bouts, but never a Hell In A Cell encounter, so it's likely an itch he'd like to scratch before he retires. Currently under contract to TNA, it's fairly easy to surmise that Jeff could leave the promotion if he wished and enter talks with WWE, a company he hasn't worked for since 2009. Is the time right for Jeff Hardy to make a WWE return? Times have moved on significantly since he last worked under the WWE banner, but it's fair to imagine the man would get at least a decent reaction if he were to show up. Keeping busy with his own OMEGA promotion (which Jeff runs alongside his brother, Matt), Hardy's best days as a performer may be behind him, but that's one doubt that there's to be proven wrong.
