Chris Van Vliet (as we've documented before) often conducts some of the best wrestling interviews around. If you've never done it, check them out. You're sure to find a personable host who tends to pull intimate stories from his guests. Ex-WWE man Zach Gowen was no different.

He credits Vince McMahon for "saving his life".

To explain what he means by that, Gowen said Vince's vision for a one-legged underdog story pulled him from cancer hell to TV stardom. Then, McMahon paid for not one but two prosthetic limbs for Zach and later eased the financial burden of drug rehab. That inspired Gowen to clean up his act.

Today, Zach is a happy father of two who wants to help others like WWE helped him. He's involved in yoga workshops and speaks publicly about how challenging his life has been. Gowen is grateful to McMahon for continuing support years after he was a WWE employee.
