10 Wrestling Facts We Didn't Know Last Week (May 1)

1. Dana White Tells WWE Rousey Won't Wrestle

It's not exactly hidden from plain sight that WWE are interested in booking MMA supremo Ronda Rousey to tangle with Stephanie McMahon in a major bout on Pay-Per-View. The seeds were sown at WrestleMania 31, and it's highly plausible that the company would be interested in making the match happen at 'Mania 32, possibly even before. There had been rumours that the showdown could take place as early as Summerslam, but UFC head honcho Dana White had shot down suggestions that Rousey will ever compete in a WWE ring. Who knows if this is merely a power play from White, who could simply be reminding WWE that the female warrior is under contract to his company, not theirs. It seems clear that the woman herself is interested in the idea, otherwise she probably wouldn't have agreed to become physically involved as she did at WrestleMania - people lost their minds over Rousey's performance, so there's definitely a big market there for a scrap between her and McMahon.
