Since working the segment, Steve Austin has been fairly critical of his interaction with both The New Day and League Of Nations at WrestleMania 32.

It's clear that the legend feels there could have been better ways to use him on the show, but he has also said he was delighted to be there generally.

During an interview on Chael Sonnen's podcast, Austin revealed that Xavier Woods was the one to pitch the dancing skit after the League Of Nations had been dispatched by Austin, Shawn Michaels and Mick Foley.

Discussing the segment backstage, Austin told Woods he wasn't sure that his 'Stone Cold' character should dance.

Just as all seemed lost, Xavier came up with the idea that a short, comedic dance routine would hint at acceptance for The New Day. Only then would Austin suddenly turn serious and hit Woods with his patented Stone Cold Stunner.

Austin loved the idea, that they agreed that the skit should play out that way. However, even when in the middle of the ring, 'The Rattlesnake' still had reservations over what he was about to do.
