10 Wrestling Facts We Didn't Know Last Week (May 8)

9. Global Force Wrestling Announces First Signings

Global Force Wrestling Jeff Jarrett has been fairly quiet about what's in store for Global Force Wrestling since officially announcing the company early in 2014. At first, the former WWE, WCW and TNA star went on the hype train hard, telling anyone who would listen that he had major plans for the new organisation. Aside from being affiliated with New Japan Pro Wrestling's annual Tokyo Dome show in January this year, news has been pretty sparse out of Camp Jarrett, but finally wrestling fans have some news to sink their teeth into. This week, Global Force announced some of the talent who would be performing on their debut taping in July. The likes of Davey Boy Smith Jr (once known as David Hart Smith in WWE), PJ Black (Justin Gabriel), Doc Gallows (Luke Gallows in TNA's Aces & Eights), and Karl Anderson will all be appearing. It's clear that there's a continued association with NJPW, because most of those names already compete in Japan, but surely there will be some bigger names announced for the North American audience?
