5. Vince McMahon Says He Doesn't Take Himself Seriously
The general consensus surrounding Vince McMahon has long been that the figurehead of WWE is out of touch with what people want to see nowadays. Famously behind the times when it comes to pop culture, that's likely why McMahon has surrounded himself with staff who can keep him abreast of what a younger demographic would be interested in. During a recent media appearance, Vince gave an interview solely designed to show off his business acumen and give advice to those looking to succeed in business. During the chat, it's interesting to note that McMahon said - more than once - that he tries not to take himself too seriously. For the workaholic, this is a stunning admission, because it seems that he has always taken what's happening in WWE very seriously. Whenever the company come under fire, Vince routinely seems to throw his toys out of the pram, remarking that there's a stigma that comes with the business he's in. Going further, McMahon says that whilst he takes his own ego with a pinch of salt, he does take his business extremely seriously, more so than himself.
