Working for the promotion from 2010-2016, Ken Anderson can look back on a fruitful run. During his time with the company, Anderson won the TNA Heavyweight Title twice and was regularly featured in top storylines on television. Behind the scenes, he was rarely content with life in the organisation.

Speaking with Wrestling Inc, Anderson remarked that he was often left embarrassed by TNA's lack of promotion. The 'Impact Zone' in Orlando, Florida was routinely busy, more so because the company didn't charge for admission. Out on the road for live events it was very much a different story, if people even knew TNA was coming to town in the first place.

Reflecting on the BaseBrawl events TNA ran in various baseball stadiums for several years, Anderson said that only around 200 fans were in attendance. Making things more depressing, he was approached in the gym by wrestling fans who didn't even know the promotion were running a show in the area.

That did little to motivate Anderson, especially when he could look at companies like ROH selling out their own shows. TNA's lack of strategy when it came to promotion did little to inspire talent, in Anderson's eyes.
