Even though he still looks fit enough to wrestle, 46-year old Bubba Ray Dudley/Bully Ray decided to call it a career at ROH Global Wars on October 15. Talking via his Busted Open Radio show, Ray claimed we would never see him work in the ring again, because injuries have taken their toll and he's not a young man anymore.

There was a touch of regret about Ray's comments on the show, almost as though he's aware he's not totally going out on his own terms. At the same time though, he's at peace with his retirement and said it's the right time to step away from the ring. In a thoughtful moment, Ray pondered his age, saying it's much easier to come back from injuries aged 30 than it is at 46.

Even if it ended without one more Tag-Team Title reign to add to their haul, at least long time fans got to see The Dudley Boyz have one last run in WWE from 2015-2016. It's nice to know that Ray isn't bitter about retirement, and instead sees it as a chance to do different things with his life.
